Ikea x Off White "Temporary" Wall Clock designed by Virgil Abloh, Art Event Limited Release

The "TEMPORARY" wall clock is part of the IKEA x OFF-WHITE "MARKERAD" 2019 Art Event collection.  Designed by the late Virgil Abloh, this clock perfectly encapsulates his distinctive minimalist style and reflects his ironic design intentions to challenge the status quo; the numberless clock with the word temporary on the face   

Markerad translates to 'Marked' in English. The clock and other objects designed by Off-White designer, the late Virgil Abloh, for the 2019 event were all 'marked' with Abloh's quotation mark signifiers; in this case “TEMPORARY”

The Ethos of this collection as explained by Abloh was "...to see how these everyday objects will enter people's homes and hopefully add an emotional value to them...In the same way you might hang a piece of artwork on your wall, art can bleed into objects like a chair, table or rug. That was my initial problem to solve when creating this collection with IKEA."
