The corpus is made in acacia wood and the ring handle is made of cast iron and is easy to hold. Simply refill by pulling off the ring.
This item was made in collaboration with Richard Nissen who was the third generation of the Nissen family to take over their wood factory. He did so with great success, and made Nissen one of the worlds biggest producers of wood decor in his time.
BODUM's history dates back to 1944, when Peter Bodum launched the company in Copenhagen, Denmark.
